Over the past two decades, AUB-Nature Conservation Center, the leading trans-disciplinary academic center in Lebanon, has established itself as a reference point for environmental research and conservation in the MENA region. We leverage the expertise of AUB faculty to tackle the most pressing environmental challenges including the waste crises, air pollution, water quality, and land degradation. Our goal is to promote the conservation of biodiversity while integrating socio-economic and environmental justice to enhance the well-being of people and nature. We provide an open, innovative, and collaborative platform based on research, education, community outreach, and knowledge dissemination.
